An Overdue Update
I must apologise for failing to update this website much over the past twelve months. I have been extremely busy working on my most recent book, starting a new job, renovating my house and adapting to the ever-changing world. I promise to make more of an effort to update this blog with photographs and anecdotes from my travels.
Happy New Year!
I wish all of you a Happy New Year! 2021 may have been another difficult year for many of us, but there are positives I can take from the past twelve months. A new job, another book published, precious time spent with family, exploring some delightful places in the UK and witnessing the kindness of others has more than made up for the cancelled holidays, loss of previous employment and the general missed opportunities of the past couple of years. I realise and appreciate how fortunate I am to have avoided anything more severe. I hope that the future is full of happiness and good health for you all.

Happy New Year (Again)!

More Realistic Resolutions

Van Gogh Alive
In January, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Van Gogh Alive at Media City. The immersive experience was a fascinating, emotional and beautiful way of exploring both the artistry and the tortured mind of the legendary Dutch Post-Impressionist painter. Moving music accompanied the artwork reviewing his career and life, whilst we were also able to effectively step into one of his paintings and pose for a photograph! Van Gogh Alive will remain at Media City, Salford Quays until 27 February 2022, before opening in Edinburgh on 17 March 2022. It is certainly worth a visit, so I recommend having a look at whether the experience will be making its way to a city near you at some point in the future.
